Organic production and agroecology are dynamic sectors, constantly evolving, and in this time innovations have emerged that can serve to address the productive challenges of the sector. That is why it is necessary to offer a space where the latest results from research and experimentation can be transferred and shared.
The SEAE congresses have been characterized by bringing together a large part of the agents of the organic production sector from researchers, technicians and advisors to farmers, processors, marketers, distributors, environmentalists and even consumers. That is why they have been consolidated as scenarios for exchange and debate, for showing the results and findings of the most recent studies, reflections on experiences, projects or even sharing social initiatives that demonstrate how to improve and promote development towards an agroecological transition.
A Congress is proposed divided into 3 blocks that address the different links of the agri-food chain: production and transformation, distribution and consumption.
Considering all these links from an agroecological perspective is essential to ensure its correct development: only with the promotion of consumption and the collective demands for restoration and public contracting, will significant growth and implementation be possible; both at the level of surface area and consumption quota.
