Viridalia presents its conference program for June 6 and 7

The tenth edition of Viridalia , the biennial ornamental plant fair in Catalonia, will completely change its traditional format, which consisted of exhibitions located in different locations like FlowerTrials, to centralize the entire exhibition offer in a single point: the Mercat de Flor i Ornamental Plant of Catalonia .

At the moment, 16 plant production and marketing companies and 15 auxiliary product and service companies for the industry have confirmed their presence, which will be located outside the Mercat.

The other great novelty of this edition, which will be held between June 6 and 7, 2024, is the conjunction with a program of conferences of interest to the sector, which will be offered inside the Mercat, in the auction room. The program is as follows:

Thursday June 6

10:30-11:15 a.m. Sergi Massanés Borrós, gardener and teacher, specialized in Mediterranean gardening: "Training the gardeners of the future under the light of Mediterranean Gardening"

12:15-1:00 p.m. Ricard Fernàndez, Geologist and professor of the Forest and Health postgraduate course at the University of Girona: «The relationship between Health and Urban Greenery»

3:30 p.m.-5:00 p.m .: Round Table. «Challenges and opportunities of the green sector». Jorge Muñiz moderates. Participants:
