The Flower Festival will return to Montijo (Portugal) during the weekend of May 24 to 26, 2024.
This annual event celebrates spring and the important role of floriculture in the local economy, organized by the Montijo City Council, in collaboration with the Portuguese Association of Natural Plant and Flower Producers (APPP-FN) and the brand " Flores do Montijo ".
Recognized as the “Capital of Flowers”, the city will once again welcome the aroma of fresh flowers, lots of color, joy and emotion. The setting of the Flower Festival will allude to the Carnation Revolution of April 25 , the year in which this event celebrates its 50th anniversary.
The event will present, in Praça da República de Montijo, various activities and initiatives, from flower workshops to creative workshops, concerts, street entertainment, flower market and taverns.
